S.A. Abul Hayat

I am Abul Hayat, a veteran actor, director, and writer with a career spanning over five decades in the Bangladeshi entertainment industry. My journey in the arts began in 1969, and since then, I have performed in over 1,000 television dramas and numerous landmark films. I am a graduate of the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and practiced as a civil engineer for many years alongside my creative pursuits. As a founding member of the prestigious theatre group "Nagorik Natya Sampradaya," I have always remained deeply committed to the growth of theatre and quality television in Bangladesh.

My contributions to cinema have been recognized with the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for Daruchini Dwip (2007), and I was honored with the Ekushey Padak in 2015 for my lifelong dedication to acting. Beyond the screen, I am a passionate author with over 28 published books.
